Volunteer programs are in the city of Arusha. Arusha is a medium-sized city located northwest of Tanzania at the base of Mount Meru and located about 80 km from Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Arusha is the gateway to the Momela National Park, about 36 km alone, to the Serengeti National Park, the largest and most impressive wildlife reserve in Africa, as well as the Ngorongoro Crater, which is one of the most unspoiled and Spectacular views of Tanzania.
Volunteers should arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO Airport Code) or Arusha Airport (ARK Airport Code), where they will be picked up by local staff and transported to the accommodation.
